Hello, this is Amrita Kumar Sana, working as a PhD student at Research Institute for Nanodevice and Bio Systems (RNBS), under the department of Semiconductor Electronics and Integration Science, AdSM, Hiroshima University, Japan, and came from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, where I completed my Bachelor degree and master degree from the department of Applied Physics and Electronic Engineering.

Semiconductor Electronics and Integration Science is full of high profile research faculty. There are many research groups who are doing various scientific research works to improve the better human life on this planet. I am doing my research at the Research Institute for Nanodevice and Bio Systems, which also includes research groups, specialized in the field of nanobiology and medical science to develop an early medical diagnosis of illness. RNBS is one of the top CMOS technology based research institute of Japan. The institute has a large clean room and full of recently improved equipment’s that might help to boost researcher’s knowledge and better understanding about CMOS fabrication technology. I believed my research work on biosensor using photonic crystals will help to early stage medical diagnosis of prostate cancer.

I want to let you know that I have great times here with RNBS with Yokoyama group. I would like to thanks my academic supervisor professor Dr. Shin Yokoyama for allowing me to be part of your world class research and would also like to thanks Hiroshima University for the opportunity. This experience is very good, very enriching as a professional as well as at a personal level. I firmly believe that all of these research experiences will help me to grow up as an academician and help me to continue my research work with any other research group in future.
